Ancelotti interested in signing Lazio striker Ciro Immobile

Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti is looking forward to sign Lazio striker Ciro Immobile to their team in the upcoming transfer window. The player has been exceptional in the season by scoring 34 goals by appearing in 35 games. He is ahead of Portugal star Cristiano Ronaldo for three goals and the club has a few matches left to play in the current season of Serie A.

As per the reports, Ancelotti has considered Immobile as the key target of Everton as he will be looking forward to strengthening the team for the next season of Premier League. He is certain that the club needs improvement and intends on rebuilding, which seems like a bigger job than he initially thought.

The Italian footballer has signed the contract with Lazio till 2023 and will be a great addition to the Premier League considering his current performance. Dominic Calvert Lewin and Richarlison were the top scorers of this season who have jointly scored 15 goals in this season. Bernard is the next top goalscorer of the goal with just three goals.
Ancelotti believes that by strengthening the attacking side that would be able to score more goals and win games. They have finished in the twelfth position in this season which is the lowest since 2003–2004 Premier League season. Besides the Lazio striker Immobile, they have also targeted Jeremie Boga and Wilfried Zaha.
Lazio is currently standing at fourth position and before the season began after the lockdown they were on the second position. They have been doing great in this season and challenging to the teams in Serie A. But after the resumption, they seemed to have lost their touch and has been degraded to the lower position.
