LUCAS LEIVA TO START GENOA GAME

Lazio midfielder Lucas Leiva is in line to start the Genoa game in the Italian Serie A this weekend. This is according to recent publication from the stables of Italian media outlet La Lazio SiamoNoi. It was revealed that Lucas Leiva and Francesco Acerbi will start against Genoa after their availability was confirmed during Lazio's training session on Wednesday. Lazio will play Genoa in their first league game of the new year this weekend and the duo of Francesco Acerbi and Lucas Leiva are expected to take their place in the Lazio starting line-up for the game as Lazio attempt to close the gap on the leading pack in the Italian top flight this season.


Brazilian midfielder Lucas Leiva and Italian defender Francesco Acerbi had both been struggling with muscle injuries but they have recovered to take their place in the Lazio squad for the Genoa game in what's some sort of good news for Lazio manager Simone Inzaghi who would be without a lot of his players for the first game of the year.
